Sacramento - Assemblymember Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley) joined a majority of her fellow Assemblymembers in support of critical drought relief legislation that will provide aid in the immediate and long term future for the entire state. Assemblymember Skinner, who carried the legislation as Chair of the Assembly Budget Committee, said, “Since July 1st of 2013 San Francisco received just 5-point-85 inches of rain. Which is 35% or normal. Los Angeles, during the same period, only received one-point-two inches of rain. Which is less than 10-percent of normal.” Here’s more from Assemblymember Skinner in this Assemby Access video.
