The Delta is the largest estuary on the coast of North and South America and the gateway to the ports of Stockton and Sacramento.
Recently, the legislature passed legislation having a significant impact on the Delta. I opposed the water package because it creates a new layer of bureaucrats who will make decisions on water that will impact the communities I represent, without giving us a voice.
I will continue to do everything possible to make sure the concerns of Delta residents are heard.
