Equality California Gives Assemblymember Mary Hayashi A 100% Score For Her 2011 Legislative Voting Record

SACRAMENTO, CA – Equality California recently released its 2011 Legislative Scorecard and recognized Assemblymember Mary Hayashi for having a perfect voting record for legislation aimed at protecting the LGBT community throughout California.

Equality California works to achieve equality and is committed to building a better future for all Californians by protecting youth, strengthening families and empowering communities.  Each year, Equality California helps to promote and protect LGBT issues by sponsoring and supporting legislation that ensures legal protections for LGBT individuals.

Assemblymember Hayashi is the Chair of the Business, Professions, and Consumer Protection Committee and serves the 18th Assembly District, which includes San Leandro, Hayward, Dublin, most of Castro Valley and Pleasanton, and a portion of Oakland, as well as the unincorporated areas of Ashland, Cherryland, San Lorenzo and Sunol
