Assemblymember Ash Kalra’s Racial Justice Act Passes Senate

SACRAMENTO – Assembly Bill 2542 (AB 2542), also known as the California Racial Justice Act, which will assert civil rights in the California court system and address racial discrimination that leads to unfair convictions and sentencing, has passed out of the Senate on a 26-10 vote.
