Fort Ord

Please join City of Marina Mayor Bruce Delgado and me as we explore and celebrate a local gem, Historic Fort Ord. We will take a moderate, mile-long walk into the Fort Ord National Monument, to discuss legislative issues and the local flora and fauna. At the end of the walk, we plan to gather for a picnic near Comanche's Grave. Refreshments and light snacks will be offered. You are invited to bring your own lunch and blanket for a full picnic experience!

Monterey Area Business Tax Credits: Go-Biz California Competes Workshops - July 22

Come and learn how your business can apply for available tax credits. The workshop and the program are FREE and available to businesses of all sizes throughout the state!

Assemblymember Mark Stone and the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) are hosting a workshop on the California Competes Tax Credit. Small, medium, and large businesses are encouraged to attend the workshop and receive instructions on how to apply for this tax credit program. The California Competes Program has tax credits available during the 2015-16 fiscal year for businesses that want to expand in or relocate to California.
