The 35th Assembly District is comprised of Central Coast communities in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. It is a place apart, isolated both geographically and culturally from the major regions of the state and is nested between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean along Highway 101.Santa Barbara, Ventura, Oxnard, Goleta, Carpinteria, Buellton, Solvang and Santa Ynez are among the larger communities in this coastal district.
