California Small Business Association puts the Democrat from Long Beach on their list of legislators who have been helpful to small business.

SACRAMENTO – The California Small Business Association and the California Small Business Roundtable have honored Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal for her work on their behalf.

"We are thrilled that so many members of the California Legislature are working with CSBA and CSBR on our most important issues," said Betty Jo Toccoli, president of the California Small Business Association.

"We want them to succeed," said Lowenthal, D-Long Beach. "We need them to succeed."

Lowenthal has supported bills backed by small business and has held events in an around Long Beach that brought together small business people and expert advisors on issues ranging from taxes to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

"Do you want to live in a world without small business," asked Lowenthal. "I sure don't."
