Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature event held at many locations nationwide during the spring and summer. The goal of the overnight event, hosted by the City of Lakewood at Artesia High School, is to raise funds and awareness about the fight against cancer. At the relay, people gather to celebrate survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and to fight back against this disease. There will be more than 500 participants and more than 40 teams in attendance.
