Giftraiser and Legislative UpdatePlease join Speaker Toni Atkins, Assemblymember Lorena Gonzales and me for our third annual Holiday Party and Giftraiser.

This free holiday event will feature food and entertainment from around the world. This event is also a giftraiser benefitting Becky's House Transitions, Vista Hill's Incredible Families Program (IFP), Bridges Teen Recovery Center and the Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition.

Please join me on November 16 at San Diego State University for Hunger, Homelessness & Homework, an informational hearing of the Assembly Select Committee on Campus Climate exploring the growing problem of college students struggling with homelessness and food insecurity. This event is free and open to the public.

Panelists will include representatives and students, including those struggling with homelessness, from local UCs, CSUs and California Community Colleges.
