I applaud Governor Newsom for offering a January budget proposal that demonstrates a commitment to finding a balanced approach to preserving critical public safety, education, and homelessness investments.
As I complete my final term in the Assembly, I look forward to working with the Governor, my colleagues, and residents of the 57th Assembly District to craft a final budget that addresses important issues facing the state while continuing to uplift Californians.
