Interfaith Conversation: Finding Common Ground in Divided Times

Join me for an Interfaith Conversation: Finding Common Ground in Divided Times

We must come together and discover what we have in common, and celebrate that, rather than letting the rhetoric of hate divide us.

I am proud to bring leaders of all faiths and communities together for a conversation to help begin the healing process, find common ground, build empathy, and promote respect.

Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day - Honor the BraveThis May 29, Memorial Day, is a solemn time to honor the men and women who lost their lives defending our nation.

National Night Out

National Night Out is a program that not only creates cohesion within the community, but also builds bridges with local law enforcement.

This year, on August 2, from 7 to 10 p.m., residents in neighborhoods all across America are asked to lock their doors, turn on their outside lights and spend the evening outdoors with their neighbors and police.

National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and will involve at least 15,000 communities in all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases all around the world.

On a local level, National Night Out includes residents, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, local businesses, neighborhood organizations, religious groups and local officials.

I am joining with the Buena Park Police Department, La Palma Police Department, and other Orange County law enforcement agencies to encourage everyone to participate in the following events:
