Wednesday, October 13, 2021

Sacramento, CA – Assemblymember Chris Holden expressed his commitment to improving upward mobility for people of color after Governor Newsom’s veto of his Upward Mobility Act of 2021, AB 105. The legislation – first of its kind in the nation – would have promoted upward mobility for people of color in California’s civil services system, and required diversity on state boards and commissions.
